The training program that we use has evolved from many years of experience with all types of horses and has been influenced by a few good horse people. All horses are different (just like kids at school!) and each will have an individual way of learning. We use a solid ground-work system that teaches many of the basic commands and maneuvers before anyone sits in the saddle. Once this ground work is established, the riding begins and each horse learns all the commands which now come from up top. This program has started many colts that have gone on to be trail, roping, show, reining, speed event, sorting, and cutting horses.
