Lot #578
Illini Smokin PeppyAQHA #4875551
2006 mare
Buckskin
These pictures were taken in early August at our barn. She is currently being ridden in a twisted wire snaffle. She did not enjoy getting her blood drawn last week for a coggins test, so she now has a few 'scurfs' that are not seen in this picture. (Nothing major I can assure you, hair is growing back already!) Pep is riding pretty nice in the barn arena, just not the greatest outside yet. She is a quick mover, and can turn a quick circle inside the arena. She does still require an experienced rider for outside riding. (Will keep adding updates as time permits.)

Lot #686
Illini Dry Peppy - AQHA #4929791
2006 Buckskin Gelding (pictured above as two year old)
Sabe (Lonny & I's 17 year old son) has been riding 'Blue' a lot for us. He has been going out alone a lot and is doing much better at crossing ditches. He just acts young yet, he likes to 'check' your boot when you put your foot in the stirrup each day, just a check, no biting or anything. He is just a little unsure at times. As you can see in the pictures, 'Blue' is much darker in the winter and has really lightened up this summer, but he has got a cute little head and sharp little ears. The pictures below were taken on August 18th, 2010.

Lot #664
Chiefs Skp Olena
2006 buckskin gelding
AQHA #4292792
We have ridden 'Red' a lot the last couple of months. We have used him to lead other young colts across ditches and up and down the hills. He has been really good for this! We have been riding him in a tender touch bit and he really does well with it. This colt does not, however, do well if you ride with heavy hands. As long as the rider keeps that in mind, Red will do whatever you ask. But as soon as the rider gets a little heavy, you just might find out just how stubborn a horse can be. These pictures below were taken July 31st, 2010, at a weekend trail ride we hosted.

Lonny is on "Red" in the middle of the picture below, just in front of the red Dodge.

I know I have more pictures of Red out riding, but somehow I cannot find them on the disk I have. So please, be patient with me, I'll add more pictures as soon as I possibly can!
