Welcome to Eights & Aces Quarter Horses!

If you are an old visitor, you know well that my new year's resolution was not worth making. So now that it is mid July, I am updating this page at least. If you are a new visitor, glad you dropped in. Hope this website gives you an idea of who we are and what we do.
The summer is well underway, and boy has it been hot! The horses and I have been really sweating the last couple of weeks! We have been doing a lot of our horse work in the evenings when it is not quite so hot.
Lonny and I are blessed to be able to have a job doing what we love to do, training horses. If you are interested in sending us a colt to train, be sure to call to book a training date for your colt soon, before the date you want is booked full. Contact information can be found below. We have some openings for this fall and are already booking for 2011, so give us a call!
Congratulations to the Scotland County football team on placing second in their conference and playing in the post season.
House update: Muddin' and taping, check! Wall texture, check! Walls painted, almost check, (bathrooms to go only!) Thanks to all who helped out!

Lonny is still making the coment "I win it!" occasionally, so the 'new' has not worn off yet.
2010 Cowboy Fun Weekend
Lonny says it is much easier to be in the competition than judging. See you there in 2011!
