Steve Kokjohn and Lonny
Steve and his wife, Carolyn, are owners of River Valley Horsecamp and also SK Horses LTD which raised the band of four year old fillies used in the competition. These fillies will not be available for purchase as they are going into the SK Horses LTD breeding program. They do have a new crop of 2009 colts and fillies for sale and can be viewed at:

Lonny riding his four year old filly. Trainers drew numbers for the round pen containing a filly, they did not get to choose. These fillies were all broke to lead as weanlings and wormed on a regular basis, but that is where the handling ends.

This filly was willing to be caught and handled so Lonny didn't push her to her 'fight or flight' reflex, instead opted for a more personal touch. She seemed to be more comfortable being touched than lunged.
